Can start remote, but need to be willing to relocate to one of the "Work Locations" at some point when the world is back to normal.

***CLIENT JD***
Proactively implements and enables on time performance of Product compliance testing for in vehicle electronic products including Sirius/XM, Apple, Google, Bluetooth, RDS (Radio Data System), DTS (Digital Theater Sound), Wi-Fi, Cellular, FMVSS (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards), Cyber Security, Data Protection, and DVD. Serves as an Export Control Member for Design Engineering responsible for gathering input on ECCN (Export Control Classification Number) determination. Creates and communicates the Compliance Plans for all Panasonic automotive Products when requested by Project Teams.

Responsibilities:
Compliance Planning, Testing and Certification
* Assists program teams in developing compliance test plans and schedules for new products for corporate, regulatory, industry and supplier standards including Sirius/XM, Apple, Google, Bluetooth, RDS, DTS, Wi-Fi, Cellular, FMVSS, Cyber Security, Data Protection
* Ensures Engineering transparency of, and access to, all Regulatory and Non-Regulatory Compliance Certificates, expiration dates, products supported, test reports, test status, DoC's and CoP's.
* Interfaces with regulatory & other certification bodies as a service to help address compliance issues.
* Interfaces with Subject Matter Experts to assist programs in correctly identifying requirements and interpreting standards.
* Coordinates pre-certification activities & Interoperability Testing with outside vendors
* Identifies additional unique requirements for each country including and not limited to: Lab Certification, Local Agents and Labeling Requirements
* Monitors cost and consistency in quotations and strives to improve on these.
* Request quotations from vendors and submits PO requests with follow up through Invoice and Payment to vendors to continue good business cycle relationships.
* Maintains Compliance Data in a systematic way in alignment with best practices and company standards.
* Monitors Regulatory & Compliance Standards changes & communicates product impacts to Project Teams.
* Acts as a liaison between our Panasonic Corporate bodies.
Export Control
* Coordinates Program and Product specific interviews to gather ECCN classification data.
* Interfaces with internal Legal representatives in order to assure compliance with Export standards consistent with the highest implemented standard in the Automotive Industry.
* Maintains Export Control Data in a systematic way in alignment with best practices and company standards.
Report Preparation
* Maintains project plans to provide status updates on initiatives.
* Provides feedback to management in order to address potential project "roadblocks".
General Responsibilities
* Interprets and complies with Company policies, procedures, and regulations.
* Prepares reports, charts, graphs, and other statistical information.
* Will initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels.
* Performs other related duties as assigned

QUALS:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering field and a minimum of three (3-5) years' experience with a regulatory compliance background; Ability to read and interpret technical standards, certifications, drawings, catalog sheets, and test data. Experience in technical report development.
Preferred experience: Product compliance testing with Sirius/XM, Apple, Google, Bluetooth, RDS (radio data system), DTS (digital theater sound), Wi-Fi, Cellular, FMVSS (federal motor vehicle safety standards), Cyber Security, Data Protection and DVD. Experience with Apple/Google Certification, Wi Fi (802.11 a,b,g,n), EMI. Familiarity and experience with Bluetooth SIG certification process. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi SW stack experience. Experience working in a multicultural environment. Demonstrated proficiency with the computer applications appropriate to the position and assignment.
