The reliability engineers utilize the principles of math, science and engineering to make industrial manufacturing and production processes and products more efficient and dependable.
The primary job is to test current processes and note any failures. They also look for ways to save costs while maintaining reliable products and production methods, such as adjusting materials, equipment and employees used in the production process. The primary role of the reliability engineer is to identify and manage asset reliability risks that could adversely affect plant or business operations. This broad primary role can be divided into three smaller, more manageable roles: loss elimination, risk management and life cycle asset management (LCAM).
Must have a bachelors degree in core engineering field.
Must have experience within manufacturing environment.
Prefer someone to come from foods or medical/pharma
