The Facility Technician will report daily to the Site Supervisor and support him to provide quality workmanship and high work standards to maintain a professional working environment. Primary responsibilities of this position is to be responsible for the general maintenance needs at the facility and performing general maintenance of equipment as required. Knowledge of and capable to perform carpentry/repairs, plumbing, painting, QC inspections and various general tasks assigned. Secondary responsibilities include having the knowledge to oversee the daily operations, daily communication with the client, building automation adjustments and managing the crews work load during the Site Supervisors absence. Qualified applicant must be a US Citizen, possess a valid driver's license and have at least 3 to 5 years of hands on experience in facilities maintenance and dealing with a wide range of general type services. Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
Communicates effectively daily with Site Supervisor or client Facility Manager to determine service needs. Coordinates and supervise client sub-contractors while performing service on site.
Performs a wide variety of general corrective maintenance work request.
Repairs of Walls, Floors, Doors and any painting and touch up work for beautification of facility
Repair and unclog toilets, urinals, replace and maintain valve assemblies and repair/maintain sensors for automatic flush kits, as well as all other plumbing related to the facility. Responsible for maintenance and repair of air handling equipment at this facility such as vent fans and circulation fans.
Maintain a strict PM schedule. Maintain A/C and heating equipment, change filters and clean coils as needed. Make adjustments to the building automation system as needed.
Have the knowledge to oversee the daily operations, daily communication with the client and managing the crews work load during the Site Supervisors absence.
Assist other skilled employees to perform projects as requested.
