Looking for a mechanic to join their growing team in Minneapolis. The individual in this position will be responsible for performing basic repairs and upfitting custom rail trucks that lube the tracks. This person will eventually will be assembly entire units start to finish. Also services rail trucks which could include testing units, performing upfitting, basic automotive tasks such as; wheel bearings, oil changes, tires, basic wiring, etc., making repairs on existing units, inspecting trucks, etc. No engine or brake work at all.
They will be assembling and mounting new or rebuilt equipment according to written and/or verbal specifications.
Assembling and installing commercial hydraulic and electrical components on specialty trucks.
Assemble and install products such s hyrail gear, service bodies, small truck cranes, air compressors, hydraulic pumps, hose reels, and components on specialty trucks.
Utilize power tools, drills, impact wrench, air ratchets, grinders, and various tools.
Make and fix hydraulic hoses and fittings, assembling electric and hydraulic track lubrication systems.
