The Biochemistry Research Associate in DNA Sequence Analysis will support the research staff in nucleic acid studies. This individual will be responsible for DNA sequencing, library design, library preparation, and instrument maintenance. In addition, this individual will execute and optimize protocols that could include several variants. This individual is also responsible for collecting the appropriate data from the protocols, organizing, plotting, and reporting the results.

Responsibilities
Job performance will involve a variety of activities including:
* Support senior research staff in nucleic acid studies
* Routinely execute bio-conjugation and other reagent production protocols
* Perform DNA sequencing, library design, library preparation, and instrument maintenance
* Perform analytical assays (e.g. spectrophotometry, bioanalyzer, qPCR)
* Maintain and organize work areas (e.g. hoods, benches, chemical storage)
* Contribute to authoring Standard Operating Procedures, Standard Test Procedures, Master Batch Records, and other documents
