Description:
Manage the technical helpdesk for the dental department
Manage the parts area including inventory for dental, shipping and repair
Track shipping of parts for customers
Manage in house testing, repairs, and returns of dental components
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Models a professional attitude in technical support, customer service (CS), shipping, and repair
• Provides the best technical support, customer service, shipping and repairs
• Communicates well with other members of the Belmont team on all departmental issues
• In house, manages the dental technical service areas by:
o Troubleshooting / Parts replacement recommendations
Provide part numbers / Provide installation information
Provide other information as needed for Dental customers
o Record service tickets for calls received and outsourced services
• Manage in house testing and repairs with Dental CS Department
• Ensure all estimates for the repairs are completed and faxed or e-mailed to the customer
• Ensure all personnel have the correct status of any repairs
• Ensure all repairs are completed and the equipment is returned to the customer
• In the field:
o Provide technical support for dental units, dental lights, dental chairs as well as intraoral and panoramic x-rays
Assist Dealers and end-users with installation and operation of dental equipment
Assist Dealers with correct parts / part numbers for dental equipment
Work to troubleshoot and repair products in house and at customer locations as needed
Educate customers on equipment
• Performs other duties as assigned
