Responsible to perform all duties as assigned by the department. Maintain accurate records and documentation. Recognize unusual results/outcomes and resolve discrepancies. Communicate unusual occurrences to management. Essential Tasks Competently perform all assigned departmental duties. May perform Pre-Analytical tasks [receipt, qualification, and preparation of samples for testing] and support of testing personnel and instrumentation. Does not include performance of tests. Maintain strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Prepare and maintain reports/records in an accurate and timely manner. Perform computer data entry. Operate equipment utilizing established protocols. Recognize equipment malfunctions and/or technical problems and communicate issues to personnel for resolution. Maintain departmental supplies within established inventory levels.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Requires a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma. Would prefer someone with sample handling or accessioning experience.
