Woodcock & Armani is a leading regional mechanical contractor based out of Syracuse, NY. They are also an affiliate of Comfort Systems USA, a leading Mechanical Contractor in the nation. They are seeking to hire three commercial plumbers to join their growing team - new construction group. They will be working on crews doing ground up construction for mixed use and multi-family unit housing projects. They will be working alongside other building trades contractors. Plumbers will install and build valves, fittings, drainage systems and fixtures in a commercial settings. Plumbers will be working with both water and gas supply lines, as well as sanitation/sewage lines (water). Plumbers must also be well versed in cutting, welding, and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings and fixtures to install to existing systems. The plumber will also troubleshoot, adapt, and resolve/repair all issues that arise during an installation that would keep the equipment from functioning properly or the customer from being satisfied. Plumbers will also utilize internal technology to report and document job orders and work performed Plumbers will be working primarily with PVC, CPVC, PEX and copper tubing. They also will be building connections to main mains. Additionally, the plumbers in this group will be installing and setting up fixtures such as dishwashers, sinks and other household appliances.

Top Skills Details:
TOP 3 MUST HAVES: 1. 2-5 years of commercial plumbing experience - construction 2. Valid state issued drivers license, good driving record 3. Experience with PEX, CVPC, PVC and copper pipes and tubes
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will have 2-5 years of experience in the commercial or industrial industries. The plumber will be well versed in using hand and power tools as well as other plumbing specific tools. Candidates much have knowledge of building codes, safety regulations and safety practices. In addition, candidates should have experience with reading and following blueprints and rough drawings.
