Description:

The Patient Billing Representative is responsible for the daily billing process for patients being admitted and discharged from the hospital. They are to ensure that payers are receiving accurate and timely claims. The Billing rep will be responsible for the life of the claim - from the time the patient is admitted to the hospital, to when they are discharged. They will send out to bill either electronically or through mail and will need to ensure that it is paid by the responsible party.

Qualifications:

HS Diploma or GED

18 months + administration/data entry/collections/billing experience

Prior experience in healthcare/insurance a plus

Strong data entry skills (data entry alpha numeric test not required but preferred)

Strong attendance record

Desire to stay with and move up with a company

Time management and multitasking skills
