The Change Manager role will focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. The Change Manager will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees.

This role will act as a coach for leaders and executives in helping them fulfill the role of change sponsor. This role will provide direct support and coaching to all levels of managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions. The Change Manager will also support project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans.

Key Activities

* Design change management processes, leveraging OD Toolkit to manage change across a large-scale IT implementation program

* Conduct change management assessments, analyze impact/change readiness across stakeholders, and coach project teams

* Evaluate/ensure user readiness, manage anticipated resistance, and prepare risk mitigation tactics

* Drive creation of change plans: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan

* Integrate change management activities into project plans, define/measure success metrics, monitor progress/adoption, and report issues

* Support and engage leaders with organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities

* Support the design, development, delivery, and management of communications

* Support training leads with planning, design, and delivery of training programs

Skills and Qualifications

* A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process

* Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools

* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and an ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences

* Ability to work effectively at all levels in an organization and influence others to move toward a common vision or goal

* Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle

* Ability to manage strong stakeholders and assertive personalities, direct the business community, and keep stakeholders bought-in

* Highly organized, extremely goal oriented mindset, logical, thorough, and detail-oriented

* Change management certification or designation desired

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: These are all nice to have, but not required

• Expert knowledge MS Excel / Powerpoint / Sharepoint

• Certification in following would be advantageous:

o ADKAR/Prosci certification

o ACMP (Association of Change Management Professionals)

o AIM Change Methodology
