Sidley Precast specializes in Structural and Architectural Precast concrete for countless building types. Main line of business is for parking garages and athletic stadiums. - Perform construction labor duties to build the wooden frames (or "molds"), based on Blueprints, that the concrete will be poured into (i.e. using hand tools to help the carpenters build the wooden frames, assisting in installing the Rebar frames that are part of the wooden form prior to concrete pouring.). Candidates will be responsible for grabbing mesh sheets ( up to 100 pounds sometimes which requires two people), rebar, wires, and nuts and bolts and bring to the station for form building. - Conduct general labor duties (i.e. sweeping, cleaning off wooden forms to prep for next pour, assisting in helping getting the plant up and running for more and more production. -Blueprints are given for each job with measurements and what needs to get done (candidate ideally has Blueprint experience but it is not a must have skill to get the job.). - Once Concrete wooden/steel forms (or molds) are built, concrete will be driven over within the plant and poured. Then these laborers will be responsible for assisting the skilled labor with anything needed while they work on the concrete.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

-Experience working outside whether it is landscape, farming, construction (preferred), etc. -Familiar with hand and power tools, tape measure, and performing physical labor -Work 8 hour shifts for at least the first week to get acclimated to the working conditions, skill involved, and production process when it comes to the projects. Afterwards must be open to working overtime that would consist of 10-12 hour working days during the busy part of the year.
