The Workplace Organization Specialist - Intermediate will work with the Launch Control organization to coach and teach Workplace Organization. Tasks will change as product matures from virtual station lay-out to physical station in the plant. Responsibilities include but not limited to:* Training in W.O. tools and methodology such as 5S, Muri, Mura, Muda and NVAA.* Work with ergonomics, lead and coordinate meetings with other pillars to coordinate WO activities, prioritizing WO activities and measuring progress. This position will act as the teams Readiness Management System (RMS) Coordinator: Manage all RMS issues & checklists Coordinate meetings G Suite / eWPI auditor Update weekly summary board updates, Pilot Tracking files, and assist Launch Specialist with Steering Committee, KPI’s and Master Plan deliverables Assists program manager, specialists and virtual assembly team with Launch deliverables Create and manage KPI / KAI / deliverables / Master Plan for TCF Manage status results by creating presentations/spreadsheets to communicate execution progress to leadership and executive management (steering committees, IH reviews, loop buyoffs, program updates) Update Launch calendar Audit Launch Wall document content for all stakeholders involved in the Launch (layouts, carpet charts, training, Book of Evidence libraries, permissions) Organize World Class Manufacturing (WCM) Best Practices and document Lessons Learned for the Launch team Create and update Trim, Chassis and Final line summary boards and content (layouts, issue reports, carpet charts, summary graphs updates)

Top Skills/Experience required Presentation and communication skills – written and verbal – must be comfortable communicating up to Executive Level Leadership and to Line/Unit Leaders on the floor Data mining/analystics – excel Problem solving 2D/3D Floor layout experience – Autodesk 2d/3d is the program they need to have Station readiness – a workplace organization specialist is responsible for setting up work stations along the assembly line on the plant floor – works hand in hand with IE’s PFMEA’s Strong Assembly process knowledge
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Requirements: • Bachelor degree in Business or Engineering and 5+ years’ automotive assembly experience • Minimum 3 years of automotive assembly experience • 1 year of leadership experience • Experience launching a new product • 1 year of experience implementing lean manufacturing principles • Working knowledge of WCM methods and tools including but not limited to problem solving tools, kaizens, 5S, Muri, Mura, Muda, NVAA, line balancing, KPI-KAI settings and target definitions, pareto diagrams, stratification, Benefit / Cost Analysis, HERCA, OPL, safety policies, visual management, skills radar chart knowledge and management, losses, Poka Yoke, SMP and project management. Preferred: • Experience implementing WCM with focus in WO/LO/QC/FI/AM/PM • Proficiency in Google Suite applications • Experience launching a new vehicle
