Description:
• Expertise in mammalian tissue culture and cell-based assays to evaluate viability, protein levels (western blot/ELISA/MSD), gene expression analysis (qRT-PCR/Nanostring) and other functional/molecular biology assays • Experience in genetic knockdown methods (RNAi/CRISPR), transfection and lentiviral transduction • Expertise in fluorescent based assays ( immunofluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry) is a plus • Experience in compound screening and high-throughput assay development is required • Ability to develop, optimize and troubleshoot new cell-based assays • Efficient time management and the ability to work on several projects simultaneously • Strong interpersonal skills and effectively communicate with multiple research teams • Has the ability to work independently and adapt to shifting priorities and timelines • Attention to detail, data quality and enthusiasm for integrating basic science learnings with drug discovery efforts
