Supply Chain Analysis: • Execute safety stock and lot sizing models to minimize inventory while maximizing customer service levels. • Develop and implement processes to minimize excess and obsolete inventory. • Uncover and resolve root causes of plant service issues. • Participate in the specification of material lot sizes and material packaging. • Actively and aggressively pursue cost reductions, inventory reductions, and increased service year over year. • Perform weekly measure reports as assigned by department roles and responsibilities. • Participate in the specification of material lot sizes and material packaging. Material Planning: • Manage replenishment plan to meet corporate objectives. Review and adjust material plan regularly to reflect changes in system parameters. • Support new products, productivity projects, and other product changes to smoothly transition to the new product and minimize obsolete material. Work with project teams as necessary to execute the planned transition on time. • Identify and respond to input spikes or ongoing demand increases/decreases. Supplier Management: • Manage vendor execution to ensure high availability of components. • Expedite supplier delivery commitments to support production requirements.
