Electrical Controls Engineer

The Electrical Controls Engineer is a critical role for the development and engineering of web handling and automated web converting equipment. They engineer, program and design all electrical systems for all types of their automated equipment. This includes programming Controllogix, assisting in the design and layout of electrical schematics in Autocad. They will also be responsible for testing and customer installation and start-up of equipment which would include travel to customer sites to assist in installing equipment and training operators and maintenance professionals.

Musts: - At least 4 years of PLC programming experience with Controllogix (school is okay) - At least 2 years of electrical design experience - At least 2 years of experience troubleshooting PLC's and start-up and installation - At least an AS Degree Plus: - Previous experience using SAP - An BS degree in Electrical Engineering - Previous hands on experience with paper making or paper converting equipment DQ No prior Controllogix experience Only hands on technician experience
