Description:

Three Must Haves

CNC operator experience either operator or setting up mills or lathes.

blueprint knowledge or ability to understand them

ability to use inspection equipment, micrometers and calipers as well understanding of tolerances

Machine operators will set up and operate a variety of different machines to produce precision parts.

Day to day responsibilities:

calculate dimensions and tolerances for products using micrometers and calipers

select appropriate tooling, machines and materials for machinery work

monitor feed and speed of machines

machine parts to specifications using mills, lathes, shapers and grinders

Maintain a safe working environment and perform preventative maintenance as needed on machines.

Individuals will be working with both Lathe and Mill Machines. They are HAAS machines working off of Fanuc controls

1st shift 6-2:30 pm

OT is required

6:00-4:30 pm

and Saturdays

1 year or more of CNC operator experience

manufacturing experience

Must be able to read blue prints, work orders and production schedules.

Must be able to read inspection equipment.

Must be able to calculate dimensions and tolerances using micrometers and calipers
