Top Skills Details:

1) Cable Install techs – Ability to run and terminate cable and phone lines

2) Tip and Ring systems, 25-pair, punch downs, color codes, CAT5/6, etc.

3) Basic networking experience– plug and play, WIFI/MIFI

4) Reliable Transportation, and an ability to travel across the region for multiple site visits.

Description:

Install Technician -- current OHSA 10 training 1-3 years of experience or basic low voltage certification.

• Proficient in the following:

o Basic Installation work, hanging equipment, securing equipment in mounting locations

o Understanding Termination of POTS Lines for phones.

o Low voltage wiring repair single pair splices.

o Rack installation and wiring management principles.

o To Tone and Test phone cables

o Wiring installation, able to use fish tape, pull string and glow sticks

• Valid US issued driver’s license.

• Physically able to Lift up to 50lbs on a consistent basis.

• Basic Packing and Shipping Principles

This project is to replace the Inmate Phone Systems they use to communicate with their loved ones outside of the facilities.

These techs are going to be performing work in prisons.

MUST have reliable transportation – many of these sites are remote/rural locations

Prefer for to have their own basic toolsets – pliers, strippers, screwdrivers, etc.

Will be working Monday through Thursday

May have to travel on Sunday depending on location – in order to be on site on time Monday morning
