General Labor Production Worker

The general production positions consist of operating packaging machines, grinders or stuffers (these are mid to larger pieces of equipment). Candidates will also help with the setup, tear down or cleaning of equipment. Equipment could consist of packaging machines, grinders or stuffers and the use of a tow motors may also be required. People in this role will also be responsible for counting, weighing or document product counts during their shift (For example, if a box needs to contain 500 hot dogs, candidates will need to weigh that box out to ensure that their are 500 hot dogs). Candidates will comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements.
This person must be able use arms and hands above shoulder level and be able to lift 35-40 lbs. This person must be able to work in both hot or cold temperatures as well as be comfortable in a damper environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. This person must be able to read labels, computer screens, use handheld scanners, and be able to perform basic math calculations. Perform any other work as assigned by supervisor.

** Candidates will be working every Saturday. When speaking with candidates they need to know that they'll be working between 45-55 hours a week.
