Sample Lab Technician

-Evaluate and interpret data
-Maintain a legible and organized lab notebook for recording of results
-Perform related Quality Control testing as required by established GMP regulations (Good Manufacturing Practices)
-Assist with collecting samples from incoming product.
-Fill sample requests.
-Handles raw material, in process, residual, finished product, stability and special study testing following approved specifications, procedures and SOP's under the guidance of Lab
-Test products that require use of instrumentation and may involve the less complex analytical techniques.
-Sets up and operates laboratory test equipment/instrumentation
Practices GMP, which includes, but is not limited to, proper laboratory documentation and maintenance, archiving of paperwork, attention to specification limits for any tests performed, and immediate notification of any out-of-specification (OOS) results.
-Prior lab experience necessary
-Courses in chemistry or food processing preferred
-Must be able to stoop, stand and bend.
-Lift up to 50 lbs.
-Basic understanding of arithmetic.
