Structures Mechanic
Location: Medford, OR
Contract: 6+ months Contract to Hire (Prefer people stay and go
perm, but not required)
Job
Description: Rebuilding and maintaining
heavy-lift helicopters used for firefighting, logging, infrastructure ops, etc;
also may contribute to rebuild and refurbishment of military medium-lift
helicopters. Review installs/buildups and associated blueprints, perform basic
assembly and fabrication, install structural components: measuring, riveting,
inspecting, countersinking, reading manuals.
Fabrication/part
building roles also available in the shop.
Work
Environment: Hangar and shop environments,
all inside
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 0630 – 1430, OT available
Interview: None, structures/blueprints test administered on first day
Qualifications: 3+ years aircraft structures experience. A&P preferred
but not required. Must have your own basic set of tools that are shadowed.
Pay: $25 - 33/hour depending on experience. Per-diem included
in that number (100/day)
Travel: None. Opportunity to grow into traveling & deployed
