The Infrastructure as a Service team is responsible for supporting the actual infrastructure that creates the Azure cloud. All application and services that are sitting on Azure are utilizing these machines to function.
This team supports enterprise customers around the world, and is known as the fastest growing team within Customer Support Services. These individuals must have a strong passion for solving problems and helping customers fix their issues. The better the service, the more likely the customer is to spend more on Azure Services.
With the new announcement of the partnership between VMware, RHEL and Azure, The Azure platform is becoming more and more open-source and collaborative, so candidates must be ready to pick up new technologies and quickly become skilled within them.
The breakdown of each day is consistent! 4 hours will be spent accepting new, incoming calls from customers. The last 4 hours of the day will be spent managing back log (researching issues in the backlog, making plans to resolve these issues and following up on existing cases)
