This position will involve two sides to the job: Business Development and Project Management.

Business Development:

-Know what your market is and how to communicate effectively
-Build strong client relationship with Georgia Power to develop future business
-Collaborate with carious internal departments to endure that they fulfill all customer needs and requests
-Resolve any issues and keep track of all processes that pertain to the client's desires
-Collect and analyze market data to support client's request
-Present market analysis and plan to attack projects
-Locate and obtain where money will be spent in the next 10 years for client (Georgia Power/Southern Company), who the players are and what their roles entail

Project Management:

-Hold weekly, monthly and quarterly meetings to discuss project deadlines and updates
-Coordinate with all other departments to drive project completion and accuracy
-Lead implementation efforts by determining objectives on the development of a comprehensive project design, outline project requirements, assign tasks, coordinate project activities with other operating units to facilitate participation of appropriate staff on project, supervise project to ensure objectives are met
-Develop statement of work documents to secure and manage service providers and other resources that may be needed to complete the project
-Approve project specifications and manage purchase orders and any change orders
-Set and manage project schedule to ensure accuracy of deadlines
Ensures all project work is conducted in accordance with the company's safety policies and programs as well as compliance requirements


Minimum of 7 years of program management/project management in the Energy sector

Experience working with Georgia Power/Southern Company

Experience developing relationships and account management
