Seeking pharmaceutical process engineering candidate for a lead downstream position. There are several roles open overall but the downstream focus is the priority. If you have process engineering experience in pharmaceuticals please still apply!
Description:
Develop plans and oversee engineering projects to improve manufacturing operations by implementing new processing equipment, facility designs and technologies at a company-wide level
Review and approve engineering designs, requirements and specifications from partners on capital projects and facilitate introduction into various manufacturing sites
Establish and maintain the procedures, business processes, SOPs and tools/systems for Process Engineering
Provide industry guidance and expertise for technical support of equipment modifications, deviations, change controls, and CAPAs
Lead complex investigational, troubleshooting efforts and provide implementation plans and coordination support to partner organizations
Lead collaboration on technical projects and/or studies with external partners (i.e. process development, vendors) and document in protocols, technical report and/or presentations
Skills:
upstream process, GMP, Process improvement, Process engineering, pharmaceutical, CDMO, engineering scale up, scale up, start up, PPQ, continued process verification, product impact assessments
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
BS in Science or Engineering with industry experience in a pharmaceutical or GMP regulated environment
Must have demonstrated experience in upstream or downstream process engineering and manufacturing operations
Experience with technical transfer and scale up is preferred
Knowledge of clinical and commercial production operations is preferred
Experience working in a cGMP manufacturing environment is preferred
