Hiring General Production Workers in Winchester, VA for Entry-Level Positions starting at $13.00/Hour. No Experience Required. No Heavy Lifting. Cross-Training.

$676.00-$945/Week

Interview Information:

·       There is no interview required. The hiring decision is based on personality, reliability, and work history.

 

Shift/Hours:

·       1st Shift: 5:50 am – 6:00 pm | 2 days on & 2 days off, then, 3 days on & 3 days off.

o  One week you will work 4 days a week (48 hours) and the next week you will work 5 days a week (60 hours).

·       3rd Shift: 5:50pm – 6:00 am | 2 days on & 2 days off, then, 3 days on & 3 days off.

o  One week you will work 4 days a week (48 hours) and the next week you will work 5 days a week (60 hours).

 

Pay Rate:

·       Regular:

o  1st Shift: $13.00/Hour

o  2nd Shift: $13.50/Hour

·       Overtime:

o  1st Shift: $19.50/Hour

o  2nd Shift: $20.25/Hour

·       Expected Gross Weekly Income:

o  Week of 4 Days/Week:

§  1st Shift: $676.00/Week

§  2nd Shift: $702.00/Week

o  Week of 5 Days/Week:

§  1st Shift: $910.00/Week

§  2nd Shift: $945.00/Week

 

Compliance Requirements:

·      MUST BE WILLING TO SUBMIT TO A DRUG TEST!

o   Does not test for Marijuana.

·      MUST BE WILLING TO SUBMIT TO A BACK GROUND CHECK!

o   Only checks for violent or sexual offenses in the last 7 years.

·      MUST COMPLETE COVID SCREENING QUESTIONNAIRE BEFORE STARTING!

 

Dress Code:

·       Closed-toed shoes (do not have to be steel-toed boots).

·       Must wear a mask – it can be a cloth mask.

·       The company will provide (for the production lines that require them):

o  Safety glasses

o  Hearing protection

Job Title:

Job Description:

·       This is a custom injection molding plant that services high profile customers such as Rubbermaid and Trex.

·       This company makes custom plastic pieces and parts using molds that go into different products.

·       They are currently looking to add a General Production Worker to their team for a long-term opportunity.

·       Candidates will be responsible for a range of duties.

·       Duties will range based on the products that were ordered.

·       Job Responsibilities:

o  Could include but are not limited to:

§  Assembling

§  Packing

§  Inspecting

§  Filling machines

o  The work is moderately physical so the candidates must be able to comfortably stand for 12 hours as well as bend, twist, and stoop.

o  Candidates must also be able to comfortably lift up to 30 pounds.

 

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

·       Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.

·       This company is open to hiring entry-level candidates.

·       Candidates must be manually dexterous.

·       Candidates must be able to comfortably stand for 12-hours per shift.

·       Candidates must posses and demonstrate good attention-to-detail.

·       Candidates must be able to comfortably lift up to 30 pounds regularly and repeatedly.

 

Work Environment:

·       The production floor is tightly packed.

·       Candidates will work in proximity with others.

·       This is a very fast-paced job.

·       The warehouse is climate controlled in the winter; however, it does run the air conditioning in summer.

o  The warehouse can be warm in the summer.

Performance Metrics:

·       Your performance will mostly be based on your reliability: ATTENDANCE and PUNCTUALITY!

o  Candidates may not have more than 3 absences (unless COVID related) during their first 3 months of work.

 

First Day Expectations:

·       Your first four shifts you will be paired with an experienced operator to cross-train on every production line for 6 hours on each line at a time.
