Typical duties include:

Plan and track project schedules and costs.

Provide status feedback to project team, General Manager customer. Interface with other departments to assure cohesive approach to project problem solving.

Collect and prepare project resource information for management review. Flag schedule/cost variances in a timely manner and initiate corrective action. Responsible for the profitability of all the projects.

Prepare and submit monthly reports as required. Prepare or assist in the preparation of cost proposals. Work with subcontractors to maintain schedules.

Manage the details of the program/project and resources required in a matrix environment.

Work and communicate team and customers and communicate about the projects to make sure requirements are clearly understood and to also provide feedback if schedule is not being met.

A. Maintain schedule and cost of projects within budget, including labor budgets for all hours to be worked on project. Meet commitments with accuracy and high level of quality by the ability to be done right the first time.

B. Provide schedule and charge number information to project team members.

C. Insure technical compliance in accordance with the contracts.

D. Establish customer rapport and keep them informed.

E. Manage subsidiaries and subcontractor suppliers. Hold weekly reviews with prime subsidiaries.

F. Schedule and run necessary project review meetings both internal with project team and external with customers.

G. Maintain and follow up on open action items list(s) for projects.

H. Prepare purchase order requisitions, work orders, and bills of material for standard project jobs.

I. Track schedule and prepare data items for submittal to customer.

J. Work closely with other departments in the coordination of staff, project people and other staff to complete project requirements, including in-house equipment, material flow and customer requirements. Able to approve small purchases on projects.

K. Hold quarterly ‘lessons learned’ meeting with management.

L. Maintain ISO adherence in to the Program Management Procedure.

M. Establish and maintain vendor relationships with key logistic vendors such as freight forwarders, packaging, machine shops, electrical assembly shops, etc.

N. Process Management

o Continuously evaluate order processing from RFP to signoff and champion improvements as required.

o Identify best inventory method for standard products. Decide when an item must be made a standard product with one complete cost to the job. Work with Production and Accounting to achieve this task.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

1. BS in Electrical or Mechanical a huge plus, but would consider an AA or experience in place of degree

2. 2-3 years of experience min

3. Proficient in Microsoft office

4. Knowledge of sound proofing, foam, and construction a huge plus
