Infinity Biologix (IBX) is a spin-out of the RUCDR Infinite Biologics lab out of Rutgers University- New Brunswick. IBX has developed a saliva test for COVID-19 which is the first specimen collection approach that utilizes saliva as the primary test biomaterial for COVID-19. The saliva collection method can be performed at home and allows for broader population testing than the method of nose and throat swabs. The state of Minnesota has contracted with IBX to operate a satellite lab with support from the New Jersey location to process 30,000 samples/day.
