Customer Service Representative

This is an inbound, customer service rep that will be working in a call center environment.
The handle time will be anywhere between 4-8 minutes per call. They will be taking anywhere between 5-10 calls per hour. This may vary at first during training.
They will be taking calls from people who purchased extended warranty on cell phones. Customers who have a lost, stolen or damaged phone are calling in to the center to make a claim
The calls will not be scripted and chat assistance will be available to the agent during the call for assistance.
Agents must be able to be empathetic and able to deescalate if necessary.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
1 year of customer service experience in a call center
Ability to multi-task on multiple systems while being on the phone and documenting information.
Confidence to tell callers things that they don't want hear Ex: "Your item isn't covered under the warranty" or "I will need to check into that please be patient while I place you on a brief hold"
GED or high school diploma is required.
