Job Summary



Mechanical Designer

Key Job Elements:
  • Create solid models, layouts and associative assembly and detail drawings from sketches, notes or direction from senior designers
  • Design subsystems with minimal supervision utilizing NX CAD software integrated to the Teamcenter database
  • Perform design calculations and trade-off studies as required
  • Incorporate engineering change requests into existing Technical Data Package
  • Perform dynamic motion and interference analyses




Required Qualifications:
  • University degree or college diploma in Electrical or Mechanical field
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience with NX CAD software in modeling, drafting and assemblies
  • Strong knowledge of the application and interpretation of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) from piece parts to assemblies
  • Demonstrated strength in MS Office applications
  • Ability to travel 5%
