We are looking for a unique individual to lead the team. You will take the lead in implementing innovative digital solutions for patients and other stakeholders. You will create the environment in which the power of data can really be leveraged, using Advanced Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, RPA and chatbots.

As our Director of IT, you build trust by partnering with our stakeholders to define the technology strategy, identify innovative improvements and contribute in building road-maps that deliver value for patients. You ensure the successful implementation of the initiatives in your domain. You lead and coach your team to maximize the impact of our IT investments and prepare them for the future in terms of skills and capabilities. You keep an open mind and explore new technologies and bring these insights back to your area of responsibility.

Your main responsibilities:
Technology: You bring solutions to the market, own (if internal), integrate (working with partner solutions like sensors) and maintain the technologies that allow our client to digitally interact with patients and stakeholders. You ensure the solutions are trustworthy, secure, safe and compliant. As use cases, technology and regulations evolve at varying pace, you adapt the technologies and methods in sync with architecture strategy.

Digital: You are accountable for the successful delivery of key projects in your domain, take ownership to deliver on time, and budget with the required quality. These projects cover a wide functional scope ranging from digital transformation projects like AI to Omnichannel technology, Market access, Pricing solutions, and CRM. Next to the project delivery, you ensure the right AMS (Application & Maintenance Support) model is in place, collaborating with all parties involved (internally and externally).

Own the IT landscape partner with your stakeholders: You are responsible for the whole IT Americas landscape globally. In this role, you connect and interact with all your stakeholders to understand and identify new opportunities and possibilities for innovation. You define with management on strategic directions and build and maintain the IT landscape strategy. Based on the agreed road-map, you actively manage the IT portfolio and related budget.

Team development and coaching: You make sure you have the right expertise and talent on-boarded to deliver and maintain this wide variety of solutions. You lead and coach your team and ensure your team had the right capabilities and develop their skill set.
Next to the internal team, you actively manage the sourcing of external expertise to deliver the right service to your stakeholders. You manage a diverse team, including on- and offshore team members.

Requirements:
- Master's degree in computer sciences or equivalent.
- Experience across commercial, reporting and analytics: CRM (Mobile Intelligence,
Veeva), Data warehousing (Oracle, Netezza), Reporting tools (Cognos, Qlik) and
other visualization tools AWS, Databrick, Spark, R, Phyton.
- You have proven leadership success in a multinational environment.
- Business acumen, a long term perspective and strategic thinking help you set up
strategies and road-maps that steer how technology creates patient value.
- You have diverse leadership experiences of which 5 years in IT, including a
thought leader in one or more domains of your role.
- You are eager to explore new technologies in view of good business opportunities
yet always with a strategic perspective in front of you.
- You like to work with a diverse team on a diverse set of topics in a fast pace and
demanding environment.
- Fluency in English with any other languages as an asset.
