Ultimately, the Product Owner is responsible for analyzing, defining, prioritizing and owning a Product Roadmap and Backlog within the Connected suite of products.  Specifically, they will represent the needs of the product, prioritizing capabilities based on quantifiable enterprise business value.  The Product Owner leads the development effort by conveying the vision to an Agile or Scrum delivery team, outlining and prioritizing work based on business value.  They serve as the Agile or Scrum delivery team's primary contact for information, work prioritization and decision-making. They will work with user audiences directly, as well as Allegis Group and operating company Stakeholders, Experience Owners, other Connected Product Owners and IS Delivery teams to identify, test, and optimize product capabilities that empower Allegis Group with a competitive advantage.  They will also work with the Analytics team to measure ROI and value on product capabilities and features. The Product Owner will embrace the Allegis Agile practices to guide and direct progress. 


Essential Functions:

  • Ability to work with executive leadership and Opco Stakeholders to drive clarity on business goals and objectives
  • Drives accountability through cross-OpCo data and metrics
  • Effectively builds consensus across all Operating Companies and defines key process improvement efforts to deliver a multi-OpCo experience
  • Works closely with Analysts to elicit and define objectives to roll out across enterprise
  • Leads the enterprise into a process-driven, team-oriented culture that embraces continuous improvement
  • Business acumen within the talent solutions/recruitment industry
  • Leadership vision and decisiveness to set product roadmap and direct scrum teams
  • Diplomacy to collaborate with stakeholders, while doing the right thing for the enterprise overall
  • Desire for and comfort with driving quantifiable business results
  • Support a shared program vision across the organization; ensure program objectives and updates are communicated to business stakeholders.
  • Leverage an Agile mindset to collaborate with a diverse set of researchers, experienced designers and technologists to solve critical business problems.
  • Use findings from research, concepting, and testing to drive product strategy and determine how to prioritize initiatives and features.
  • Articulate the product vision through tools such as roadmaps, backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Feed and maintain a prioritized backlog and convey the long-term product vision and short-term goals for Agile sprints.

Budget Responsibilities:

  • Assist and support funding activities with the Front Office Steering Committee
