Picker/Packer's are responsible for picking the parts from a work order. The candidate will also be responsible for packing the material into boxes for shipment. Pickers will take their pick sheet, along with a box and a rolling cart. They will walk up and down the product isle to pull all of the correct product for that specific order. The product isle has multiple bays that hold the different pieces, and the pick sheet will tell them where to find the correct pieces. The will then place the box on a conveyor for shipment, and will repeat this process on the next pick order
Basic job duties outside of picking and packing include inspecting to make sure all parts are correct, and that each order has the correct amount of material (Basic visual inspecting/counting). Must work well independently at their station, but also work well with a team to be efficient.
*1 year of good work experience. It is a plus if the candidate has warehouse or picking/packing experience. Archway's team will teach the candidate all skills needed to preform the required duties.
* Attendance and Reliability are extremely important
* Basic Math/Reading Skills (Give them a basic SKU test)
* Attention to detail (Working with over thousands of SKU (product numbers)
* Must be able stand and walk all day
