Job Summary

The environments can vary in terms of size and complexity. As such, the pace and demands are much greater than an in-house IT position supporting one company. Previous MSP experience is strongly preferred.*

* Provide both reactive and proactive support of desktop, server, and network issues for our clients.
* Provide a high level of customer service with a positive attitude at all times
* Work reactive issues (Client submitted or monitoring generated) remotely and onsite as needed within committed Service Level Agreements (SLA's)
* Pay close attention to detail while performing technically detailed tasks
* Deals effectively with stressful situations focusing on the best outcome for the Client

Working Knowledge Required:

* Server operating systems e.g., Windows Server 2012 R2 and later
* Workstation operating systems e.g., MAC, Windows 7 and later
* Workstation productivity / operations application administration e.g., Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, etc.
* Cloud Environment management e.g., AWS, Azure, etc.
* Enterprise email systems e.g., Microsoft Exchange, Google Suite, etc.
* Firewalls e.g., SonicWALL, Cisco ASA, etc.
* Switches e.g., VLAN, SNMP, STP, etc.
* Wireless e.g., Cisco/Meraki, Aerohive, etc.
* Enterprise Storage Area Network / NAS
  • 5+ years' experience with Sonicwall, Watchguard, or Cisco router / firewall deployment
    2. 5+ years' experience with Microsoft Hyper-V virtual host / Hyper-V virtual guest server migration
    3. 5+ years' experience Microsoft Exchange to Office 365 email migration

They are responsive and know the importance of communicating and meeting ETA's to Clients. They are able to execute with a high degree of success in integrating and/or solving problems in environments rich in Windows 7 and Windows 10 workstations, Windows Server, Exchange, IIS, Cisco and Sonicwall networking, VPN's, firewalls, backup systems and more.
