Our client is searching for a firmware engineer to join a small, dynamic, team designing cutting edge persistent surveillance systems. The candidate will work as an integral part of the design team to develop, test, deploy, install, maintain and sustain payloads for the Department of Defense. Technology employed will include infrared/thermal imaging systems, EO sensors, laser rangefinders, digital control systems, microcontrollers, and custom PCB designs.
- Develop novel electrical, electro-optical, mechanical, and opto-mechanical components and systems in a team environment
- Perform integration and test of software and hardware
- Troubleshoot, and debug custom software
- Develop ideas for new and continuing work for commercial and government clients
- Present designs and results at design reviews
