Job Summary



Candidates considered for any role at this client will be responsible for performing various stages of production in the process of making glass windows for commercial and residential buildings. Candidates will need to be able to lift upwards of 60 lbs., utilize a tape measure for accurate reading for quality, and operate various hand tools, power tools, and possibly metal and glass cutting machines.

Must Haves:
-Candidates must be able to utilize a tape measure (no guessing!)
-Must be able to lift heavy and awkward sheets of glass without injury to self or damage to product (Up to 75lbs independently)
-Attendance/Reliability/Attitude must "outshine" that of full time employees

Like to Haves:
-Previous experience cutting/breaking metal or glass
-Previous experience working at a glass window manufacturer (Milgard, Northwestern Industries, etc.)



Performance Metrics:
-Candidates will be measured on various metrics depending on the role that they are in but in general it's based off accuracy/catching defects in glass and getting parts made/boxed/assembled within an hourly metric.
-Each station has the goal for each day and will be monitored by leads hourly
-Candidates will be coached if any errors or breakage occur. They are expected to listen, teach back, retain, and get better. If they don't, they will be terminated for unsatisfactory performance.
