Service Technician will have a company vehicle and be dispatched out to local food processing facilities to service, repair or maintain equipment. They will be responsible for getting PO's from clients prior to starting any work.
If a new line is being installed or upgraded, service tech will take the lead role in getting that started up, included all mechanical & electrical, as well as training clients on how to operate and maintain machinery.
During slow times, will be responsible for audits and inspections
At the end of some harvest seasons, employee will be responsible for cleaning and winterizing equipment.
75% Service, 25% Installs
60% Electrical, 40% Mechanical Requirements:
- Experience repairing mechanical machinery/ mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of electrical systems and testing, for example PLC debugging, automation, VFD's
- Familiar with reading electrical schematics
- Associate degree
- Ability to pass a background check
- Good driving record
