The Vendor Sourcing employee will be responsible for sourcing and maintaining a vendor base within a specific geographic territory. As a Vendor Sourcer you will need to find new potential vendor partners to service work orders within your territory. A Vendor Sourcing employee will also create vendor records generated from the company website with potential leads and prescreen those vendors. The leads must be prioritized and prescreened based on the current needs of your area. There must also be a good working relationship established with the partnering scheduling lead for your territory

  • Generating new vendor partner prospects through various channels including but not limited to; phone calls, internet searches, referrals, and website leads
  • Assisting the compliance with vendor contact to complete qualification process
  • Understands how to discuss the opportunity with potential vendor partners
  • Explains the value the company offers to vendor partners
  • Analyzing a specific geographic territory vendor layout and right- size the vendor base
  • Negotiating and renegotiating with vendors to ensure financial favorability in a geographic area
  • Prioritize vacancies and problem solve sourcing vacancies with existing and new vendors
  • Communicate with the Scheduling Leads to identify vacancies or potential vendor issues not reflected in reports
  • Communicate with Scheduling Leads for vendor recommendation on Unassigned status
  • Collaborate and assist in potential staffing needs in all the company's accounts outside of periodic accounts when there is an urgent need
  • Pulling reports from Netsuite and filling vacancies identified as Need Crew


  • Any type of Account Management experience
  • Experience working with vendors is a plus
  • MUST be advanced in Excel
