Must be able to read Blue Prints and pass Welding test. Position requires the applicant to work in a production environment and must be capable of working in a physically challenging environment. Will be doing layout, fabrication and welding.

Read and comprehend drawings, blueprints, or specifications
Operate saw, shear, forklift, and crane
Plan and layout welding sequence
Select size and type of material appropriate for welding application
Position pieces to be welded using measuring instruments and hand tools
Perform welding operations on a wide range of metals and alloys and using different techniques
Finish applications using manual and power tools
Maintain safe, organized, and clean work stations
Other duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities:

Experience with MIG, Dual Shield, and TIG preferred
Knowledge of overhead crane, drill press, and mills
Forklift certified a plus
Good communication
Basic math skills

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma / GED required
5+ years of related welding experience required
Experience with MIG, Dual Shield, and TIG preferred
Knowledge of overhead crane, drill press, and mills preferred
Previous experience operating forklift and crane equipment preferred
