-Operate equipment such as MIG welders, and TIG welders, inspect and pack parts

-*Primarily perform MIG welding*

-Setup and adjust welding equipment

-Make properly size tack welds, so they can be completely covered by over lapping weld

-Clear/grind and other finishing operations as stated on blue prints

-Remove or repair any discrepant welds on products

-Position, layout, and configure pieces together

-Read blueprints and examine welds for correct sizes and location as stated on prints

-Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through production management

-Monitor production machines and visually inspect product and parts

-Send final product to QC testing and then final leak test inspection


-Candidate will work with a welding trainer to learn specific procedures in order to be API 1104 certified

-Once candidate goes through training period, they will be asked to take a weld test. The test gets sent to a 3rd party for review, and upon successful completion they will receive the certification

-It should take about 1-2 months to complete the training period and become certified

Top Skills Details:


1. Strong MIG welding experience

2. Basic math experience (understanding of decimals and fractions in order to take/record proper measurements)

3. Ability to utilize and read measuring tools (angles, levels)

Additional Skills & Qualifications:


1. High School Diploma or GED

2. Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 80lbs

3. Ability to adapt to specific welding procedures put in place

4. Provide own welding helmet, clothing, and steel toed boots

5. Previous MIG/TIG welding experience (from a welding school or on-the-job experience)

6. Passion for welding and desire to make this a career
