Position Description:

This person will be responsible for all hardware and software deployments and support


Daily duties will include deploying out hardware of various types: desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals as requested


The technician will also be responsible for deploying out software as required by the client


Support A/V activities as needed including; troubleshooting all overhead projectors, lending out loaner laptops to traveling users, setting up training labs, and supporting some of the daily IMAC activities


Installation of equipment and software in training rooms

Technical Skills:

Proficient in PC systems
Proficient in MS office suite, Proficient in Excel, and skilled in Access
Familiar with of MS Project, Visio and all other supported PC software
Work in a team environment
Understand of technical support needs for PC's.

Organization skills
Be able to work in stressful environments
Versatile and flexible
Must be willing to travel to Wilkesboro and/or Mooresville (as required)

2-6 years proven experience providing 2nd or 3rd level desktop support in a large corporate environment.
2 -4 years experience in computer software and hardware support, including life cycle computer exchange, installation, and configuration of Corporate business environment technology to specific user orders/needs.

Must have in depth experience in one or more of the following areas:

* Remote control (e.g. SCCM, RDP)

* Cisco VPN, wireless networking

* Desk-Side support and an understanding of IP based networking technologies.

* Experience in Intel based data migration and file encryption (e.g. EFS, Bit Locker) utilizing hardware and software technologies
