Soy bean and grain processing plant located in Chesapeake, VA. They have 4 openings for general laborers. The work being performed includes unloading rail cars (manual intensive work) full of corn or soy beans. Cleaning out rail cars, sweeping area.
This is their grain and soy bean plant and the position is open due to them coming into their busy season.
Purpose of this position is to provide housekeeping and general labor duties throughout the grain elevator.
• Perform routine housekeeping on tanks and facility equipment
• Perform general railroad operations
• Deck handling barges
• Measure grain and concrete

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Hard working, reliable outdoor type individuals. Manual labor experience required. They are also looking for individuals with heavy equipment experience. When they go perm they will be operating bobcats, excavators and other similar equipment.
Person must also have basic computer skills/proficiency as there will be times they need to input information into the computer.
