We're looking for a supply chain associate to join a team at a large hospital. This position starts as a contract, but has potential to go longer and eventually be a permanent Union position for a good, motivated individual. This is also a great way to get your foot in the door at a reputable hospital, and all candidates with good customer service, inventory, and general labor skills will be considered.

The primary responsibilities of this position (roughly 90%) is distributing clean linens to the patient care areas and pulling soiled and dirty linens from the room chutes.

Candidates could also be receiving product in the dock and organizing/distributing it around the hospital. There is also answering phone calls and making deliveries around the hospital, but additional duties are as follows:

FTE roles have supply chain associate responsibilities including filling orders for care units, delivering and moving packages and supplies throughout the hospital, or distributing clean linens to the patient care areas and pulling soiled and dirty linens from the room chutes.

Additional duties are as follows:

Distributes supplies, linen, equipment, and other items throughout the hospital campus.

Fills and issues order requests.

Maintains accurate records of work requests and other pertinent information.

Cleans and straightens work area on a daily basis.

Additional duties are split up over the final 10%:

Receives and stocks product.

Contacts Purchasing to follow up on problems and obtain information.

Monitors inventory levels and makes recommendations.

Checks expiration dates and rotates product.

Performs general clerical duties such as computer entry, scanning, and filings

Cleans equipment

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must haves

-6+ months customer service experience

-6+ months inventory or supply chain/warehouse experience

-6+ months professional experience working with a computer. Must be computer literate and competent on a computer.

-Must be able to stand and work on their feet all shift

-Must be willing to submit to a background check
