Patient Service Coordinator needed ASAP paying up to $17/hr hiring URGENTLY

Job Description

This person will be the front desk Receptionist at an outpatient Orthopedics office in Clinton, MD. They need someone to be at the front and provide great customer service. They will not be on the phones as much, only rescheduling follow-up appointments. Heavy patient check in and check out (is big part), registration, new patient entry, co-pays, medical records work. They want people who can be empathetic and understand where people are coming from (can't take things personal and put yourself in their shoes). CUSTOMER SERVICE is key in this role

Qualifications

Previously worked for a Medstar facility (preferred)
1-3 years of medical experience
Healthcare background
Customer Service focused
Scheduling
Co-pays
Insurance verification
IDX experience PLUS
EMR experience in general
