Position Description:

The temporary flu processor supports the regional home health billing and collections teams during flu season.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists with processing forms for our National Flu Program
  • Bills corporate clinics and insurance claims in a timely manner
  • Collects corporate and insurance Accounts Receivable (A/R)
  • Assists flu team with processing of flu paperwork packets
  • Conducts daily audits of flu team processing to ensure minimal errors
  • Performs other duties as assigned/necessary

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 6 months to 3 years of experience in the medical field
  • Computer proficiency required
  • Data entry experience (entry level and above)
  • Solid work ethic, with the ability to work both independently and in teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi task
  • Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment
  • Positive attitude, flexibility, and strong customer service skills
  • Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including,
  • but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency
  • in the English language may be required

Compliance & Ethics Expectations:

  • Sets an example for other employees regarding how the Company's Code of Conduct and
  • Compliance Program is applied and observed every day when dealing with customers, business operations or other team members
  • Attends annual Compliance Training and seeks out training and guidance related to compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and the Company's Code of Conduct
  • As appropriate, provides input and suggestions regarding areas in which policies, procedures, workflows and/or controls can be improved to enhance compliance
  • Reports potential violations of Maxim policy, Maxim's Code of Conduct, and/or applicable laws and regulations to Maxim's hotline, through the chain of command, to Maxim's Compliance and Ethics Department
