Execute assigned genomic assay and sample extraction development activities following standard operating procedures and/or Six Sigma DOE methodology Analyze data, document and evaluate results, troubleshoot Research and summarize technical publications useful in product development Work closely and coordinate activities with development team members in a collaborative environment Perform other duties as assigned or as needed Conduct molecular biology and genomic analysis techniques and methoda DNA and RNA isolation and quantification, PCR, RT-PCR, isothermal amplification, etc. Developing new molecular diagnostic products using CLSI and/or ICH guidelines Document in laboratory notebook systems such as LabFolder

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

B.S. or M.S. in biochemistry, molecular biology, biology, or related field from an accredited institution. 5-7 years of related hands-on laboratory experience with molecular biology and genomic analysis techniques and methods in a core laboratory, university, or industry (Molecular Biology/Diagnostics – working with Assay's – DNA/RNA/PCR -FDA/ISO) Hands on testing experience with DNA and RNA isolation and quantification, PCR, RT-PCR, isothermal amplification, aseptic techniques, Project lead experience in similar industry (molecular biology or biochemistry)
