Mortgage Processor
  • Pay: $26/hr
  • Schedule: M-F, 8:30am-5:30pm
  • Interview/Start Date: Immediately

We are currently hiring for a Mortgage Processor position for a well-known Credit Union in the Tampa area! This is a long term opportunity and we are looking for someone who wants to excel and grow within a company. This is an immediate need so if you fit the required experience below, apply today!

Someone in this role will own the entire processing portion of the loan. This involves reading, interpreting DU findings and researching as needed. Will do appraisal reviews, title commitments, debt to income ratios, assess liens and judgments, communicate with loan officer, underwriter, closer, Realtor, borrower, title companies, borrower employers and other related parties as needed. Once the loan has been processed, they will hand it off to the underwriter. Will utilize Cadence software system. All loan files are electronic. need to be familiar with TRID regulations. Will be processing Conventional / Fannie Mae loans. These are all first mortgage purchases and refinances.

Required Experience
  • MUST HAVE: Actively processing a pipeline of loans within the last 2-3 years
  • TRID knowledge
  • Experience with conventional loans and refinances
