This position is for general warehouse/forklift for an large distribution center. Candidates need to be flexible in potentially working in multiple areas: receiving, picking and shipping. Some roles will require a lot of forklift experience and some times they will be required to do manual activities as well. Candidates need to be flexible and a team player to assist where the need is mostly.

There are 5 different roles that candidates may be placed in with these openings.

Parcel - This position is more of a warehouse processing job where they will be working with smaller packages, using shipping programs and methods, ensuring products are pulled accurately then shipped out to the correct location.

LTL/Auto/International - This position is going to do a mix of sit down forklift and computer skills. They may be working on a dock truck but they are shipping larger loads to the customers.

Receiving - This position is a general receiving role where they need to have experience receiving, using basic computer skills, operating a reach truck or a turret/swing truck, experience with the turret is a plus or nice to have.

General Picking/General Labor - This position is going to do a mix of more manual tasks where they are picking or packing, lifting boxes up to 50 pounds, building pallets, labeling or other general tasks.

Picking - This position is operating a reach truck, using a scanner, sometimes they will be using a cherry picker in the role, given order lists on the RF Scanner and need to pick in a timely fashion.

Inventory Specialist
This position is for an Inventory Associate where candidates will be supporting the inventory manager and lead in maintaining accurate levels of inventory in their WMS system (use the brand IMS). Candidates will work with an RF Scanner and this will designate where they need to conduct inventory checks and cycle counts. They will be trained on that but it will help if they have hand held inventory system experience. Candidates will need to be good with operating a cherry picker forklift because they will have to go up in racking to perform the counts. Sometimes they will have to use a reach truck in order to pull items down as well, but not a ton of experience is required because it is a minimal part of the job.

Job Requirements (Same for All roles)

+2 years of Reach Truck Forklift Experience (Raymond) and/or Cherry Picker Experience is preferred in a candidate
**A reach truck is a stand up forklift that will "reach" it's forks into the racking instead of moving the whole cab or operator seat up with it. Candidates should have good vision because they could be looking up in the air (up to a story) to ensure they're picking up the pallet safely.
**Ask candidates what type of controls they used to maneuver the forklifts at their last job
**NO FEAR of HEIGHTS

+Ability to lift at least 40 pounds
**There will be manual picking and loading at times.

+1 year RF Scanner Experience (Hand Held)
