Security Systems Installer

This position is for an apprentice to intermediate level electrical install helper for a physical security installation company. This means security cameras, access control panels, fire alarm systems, card readers, and other types of electronic security components. Candidates need to have the following:
1.) Basic construction experience preferably with some level of electrical or low voltage component experience.
2.) Experience in one or more of the following industries is preferred:
-Fire Alarm/Life Safety
-Data-Cable Installation and or Building Automation
3.) Candidates will be assisting the lead installer in the following:
-Installing, programming, system start-up/check-out, certification, and customer
training on the operation of the systems once installed.
4.) Basic understanding of blueprints wiring methods, and cable support installation (j-
hooks, raceway, conduit, cable supports)
5.) Developing customer focus and ability to work under pressure
6.) Basic math and electrical aptitude

9.) Candidates must ABSOLUTELY have their own form of reliable transportation. They need to posses a valid drivers license. Additionally, for some of the projects, candidates may be required to obtain specific clearances/certifications so a clean driving record and background check is an absolute must.
