5-Dry Finishers (14-15$ based on experience)

Openings in material handling (walking behind a mi-jack operator to ensure safe operation of equipment and transport of steel and concrete), and in finishing (using the trowel and wet finisher to smooth the concrete as it cures/dries).
For finishing, these roles require standing for the entire day. Very physical as they are handling all of the finishing work, sanding and prep for the concrete beams/ blocks. Must be able to lift, and understand they will be standing all day working the concrete beam. Also openings in Structural Utility/Production, and those workers will be prepping concrete beds for the pour. General concrete production will be required, and. Experience working with Rebar and concrete in a similar environment is ideal but not required. For the batch plant laborers, may be operating a yard lift/truck to move concrete within the plant.

Construction type of environment although it is manufacturing Must have strong math/measuring skills and blueprint reading is a plus. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Include Lifting / Lbs: 2 % / 50-60lbs, Bending: 50%, Pushing / Pulling
EQUIPMENT / TOOLS: Will use a Framing hammer, Tape measure, Twister, Snips, Diagonal cutters, collapsible razor knife, Speed square, Oil canister, Chop saw, Grinder, Tile saw, Hand and long handle scrappers, come along (concrete rake), shovel, and General Housekeeping equipment- mop/broom

Clean beds to prepare for Form setters using scrappers and brooms, Clean up beds and prepare headers, Collect scrap cables and clean up trash. Empty baskets and prepare items for form setters, Assist in oiling down beds, Maintain work area, Assist in concrete pours, Assist Form Setters as needed,

Team work is very important,
Must have the ability to jump up and down off of concrete forms, perform constant moving, bending, stooping, and pulling of materials and work a physically demanding schedule. Lift up to 50lbs.
Actively participate in companies 6S, Lean and Observation programs.
Concrete plant. Dirty, must be flexible for all general duties as well as operating. May train to do finishing.
