Job Title: Substation Controls Designer

Job Description

Perform substation control building and relay panel project reviews and compare with standard drawings. This requires understanding and reviewing project drawings to identify deviations. You will need to visit project sites to review the completed product. Share the results of these reviews with the Substation Control Standards Supervisor to report on the effectiveness of standards.

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Birmingham, Alabama and some days remote.

Work Environment

This position involves approximately 1/3 fieldwork (travel to Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi) with the remaining time spent in the office or remote reviewing drawings, creating project review writeups, and attending meetings.
