Description
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations within the manufacturing facility to ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and maintain safe and efficient production operations. This role plans, directs, and coordinates preventive and corrective maintenance for production equipment, mobile equipment, and facility infrastructure. The Maintenance Manager leads the maintenance team, supports continuous improvement efforts, and ensures compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. The objective of this role is to maximize equipment uptime, extend asset life, and support consistent production performance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s or associate degree or technical certification in industrial maintenance, mechanical technology, or related field. Experience in wood products, pallets, packaging, sawmills, or similar heavy manufacturing Experience working with vendors, purchasing, or MRO suppliers Experience with automated nailing machines, saw systems, conveyors, etc. Advanced experience with CMMS systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo, Maintenance Connection) Familiarity with lean manufacturing, TPM, or 5S principles Welding, fabrication, or machining experience. Experience managing maintenance budgets and capital equipment projects. Forklift, material handling or mobile equipment maintenance experience.

This is a Contract position based out of Ranburne, AL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
